IMS Jammu Hosts Investor Awareness Program.

The Institute of Management Sciences, Jammu, hosted an Investor Awareness Program as a guest session on Monday, inviting students from the Management and Computer departments to participate. The session featured Ankush Goja, an expert speaker serving as the Regulatory Northern Region Incharge at the Investor Service Centre in Jammu. Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, Director of IMS, commenced the event with a welcoming speech, leading into an hour-long presentation by Mr. Goja. The primary focus of the session centered on comprehending financial markets and assessing investment opportunities, emphasizing the significance of financial planning for young students and exploring various risk management strategies. Mr. Goja also delved into the importance of constructing a diversified investment portfolio and navigating regulatory frameworks. Attendees included students from BBA, BCA, and MBA programs. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A session where the speaker addressed students’ inquiries. Director IMS, Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, presented a memento to the guest, followed by a formal vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Gurshish Kour, Assistant Professor at IMS.
