Investments in Indian startups have exceeded the levels observed in February 2023, indicating positive signs of growth.

Indian startups experienced an increase in private equity and venture capital investments in February compared to the same period last year, marking a recovery from a prolonged funding slowdown, according to data from Venture Intelligence. The growth in investments across early, growth, and late stages was 27%, 19%, and 11%, respectively. New-age tech companies received $636 million in funding during the month, a 19% increase from February 2023. Improved fundamentals and better alignment on valuations between investors and founders were cited as factors contributing to the positive trend.
