The third edition of InvokED was hosted by ShikshaLokam, attracting leaders, academicians, and students from around the world to participate in the two-day event.

The third edition of InvokED – a Global Dialogue on Education Leadership, was hosted by the Bengaluru-based NGO ShikshaLokam on March 1 and 2, 2024.

According to a press release, InvokED 3.0 saw the participation of education leaders, practitioners, academicians, market players, teachers, and students from various parts of the world. The focus of the third edition was on collective leadership and endeavors to propel India’s journey towards equity in education, aligning with the vision of establishing a world-class Indian education system.

During the inaugural session, S.D Shibulal, Co-Founder of Infosys and Founder of ShikshaLokam, stressed the crucial role of education leaders in driving the improvement process to enhance public schools in the country, thereby ensuring children’s access to quality education as a fundamental right. He emphasized that achieving this vision necessitates collective action from all stakeholders committed to enhancing learning outcomes.

“At ShikshaLokam, our reach extends across 27 Indian states and UTs, with over 570,000 education leaders spearheading improvements in more than a million schools nationwide,” Shibulal informed.

Khushboo Awasthi, Co-founder of ShikshaLokam, highlighted InvokED 3.0’s significance, stating that ShikshaLokam has been reshaping education leadership by fostering interactions, ideas, and actions that lead to development opportunities for individuals and institutions involved in K-12 education systems. “We aimed for the 2024 edition to provide participants with an opportunity to collaborate and rethink solutions and strategies to drive sustainable change within their respective ecosystems, ultimately uplifting the education system as a whole,” she remarked.

Day 2 of InvokED 3.0 featured the Shikshāgraha Utsav, a celebration of innovation and micro-improvement stories in classrooms from across the country.
