    AMU Dawakhana Tibbiya College has set up an herbal garden.

    In Aligarh, the Dawakhana Tibbiya College (DTC) at Aligarh Muslim University has announced the opening of its Herbal Garden, representing a significant step towards backward integration and ensuring a more authentic source of supply. The inauguration ceremony was led by Mr. Mohammad Imran (IPS), Registrar of AMU and Occupier of Dawakhana Tibbiya College, in the presence of Prof. Salma Ahmed, Member-in-Charge, and Mr. Mohammad Shariq Azam, Officiating GM, along with other Dawakhana employees.

     

    The establishment of the Herbal Garden is a strategic move aimed at reducing reliance on external suppliers and minimizing costs associated with outsourcing. Mr. Imran commended the initiative of the DTC team during the inauguration ceremony, emphasizing the importance of this endeavor.

     

    The DTC team expressed gratitude to the Registrar and Prof. Zaki Anwar, Member-in-Charge of Land & Garden, for their support and assistance in preparing the land area and procuring plants from suppliers.
