Shark Tank India Season 3: Anupam Mittal levels an accusation of ‘arrogance’ against a startup founder, while Namita Thapar expresses astonishment at the company’s profitability.

Shark Tank India Season 3, which premiered in January, welcomed back ‘sharks’ Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, and Vineeta Singh, alongside six new ‘sharks.’ In the latest promotional material released by the producers, Anupam Mittal is seen accusing a founder of exhibiting arrogance.

In this week’s episode, the founder of Avataar Skincare Technologies, a skincare startup, presents their business to the ‘sharks.’ Saumya Misra, the founder, captivated the ‘sharks’ with her distinctive personality during the pitch. When the ‘sharks’ compared her business model to that of competitors in the market, Misra responded with, ‘Please don’t compare us with anyone.’ Bansal pointed out her defensive stance, prompting Mittal to comment, ‘I sense a bit of arrogance.’

However, when Misra disclosed that the company generated Rs 60 lakh in profit in one month, the ‘sharks’ were surprised, and Thapar remarked, “Why didn’t you lead with your profit?”

The founders of Chalte Firte Mangal karyalay surprised the ‘sharks’ with their intriguing business, introducing the concept of ‘wedding on the go.’ The judges were impressed, and the pitcher outlined plans to achieve a profit of Rs 4.50 crore in just one month.

Kryzen Biotech will also be featured in this episode, and their business model left Peyush Bansal in shock. Sharing the promo, Sony Liv wrote, “#AvataarSkincare’s AI-driven innovation, portable wedding venues of #ChaltePhirteMangalkaryalay, and modern farming solutions of #KryzenTechologies. Who will pitch their best for the Sharks to invest?”

This season, Ritesh Agarwal, Founder & CEO of OYO Rooms, Radhika Gupta, MD & CEO of Edelweiss MF, Varun Dua, Founder of ACKO, Ronnie Screwvala, Co-Founder and Chairperson of UpGrad, Deepinder Goyal, Founder and CEO of Zomato, and Azhar Iqubal, Co-founder & CEO of Inshorts, have joined the Shark Tank India panel.
