    A seminar spanning two days on Automation, Robotics, AI, and their Applications took place.

    A two-day seminar focusing on Automation, Robotics, AI, and their Applications was hosted by the Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), in collaboration with the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). The event, held from March 2 to 3, gathered dignitaries and senior figures from IETE across the nation at the ZHCET Assembly Hall, marking a significant moment for academic discourse and collaboration in the field of electronics and telecommunication engineering.

    During the welcoming ceremony, AMU’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohammad Gulrez, highlighted the wide-ranging impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in sectors such as healthcare and recommendation systems. Guest speaker Prof. A.P. Thakare, Chairman of the Technical Programmes Committee, delivered an insightful lecture on the significance of AI in education and computer science, while Brigadier V.K. Pandey, IETE’s North Zone Mentor, stressed the importance of standardization within the organization.

    Delving further into recent advancements in AI, Prof. Muzaffar A. Siddiqi, Chairman of IETE Aligarh Centre, emphasized its crucial role in contemporary technology. Prof. Izharuddin, Chairman of the Department of Computer Engineering, extended the welcome address, while Dr. Abdus Samad, the event’s organizing chair, provided a comprehensive overview of objectives and anticipated outcomes.

    Prof. M M Sufyan Beg, Principal ZHCET, delivered an engaging discourse, highlighting AMU’s history and academic excellence. Special mementos were presented to guests in recognition of their valuable contributions, and Mr. Tehzeeb Abbasi concluded the session with a vote of thanks.

    The inaugural session marked a significant stride forward in fostering academic discourse and collaboration within the domain of electronics and telecommunication engineering.
