The Moot Court Society of Aligarh Muslim University, Centre Malappuram, commenced a three-day Intra-Departmental Moot Court Competition on March 4, 2024, under the guidance of faculty conveners, Dr. Shally Victor and Dr. Absar Aftab Absar. The moot problem centered around the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and a total of 16 teams have registered for the competition.
The panel of judges included Dr. Shally Victor, Dr. Imran Ahmad, and Advocate Prabitha.
Dr. Faisal K.P., Director of AMU, Malappuram centre, in his inaugural address, commended the efforts of the Moot Court Society members for organizing the competition and extended his best wishes to the participants.
Dr. Shahnawaz Ahmed Malik, Course Coordinator of the Department of Law, delivered the welcome address, highlighting that the Intra-Departmental Moot Court Competition is a regular feature of the AMU Centre since its inception.
Mr. Ghalib Nashter praised the hard work of the Moot Court Society members in organizing the competition.

Following the inaugural ceremony, the courtrooms buzzed with activity during the preliminary rounds, as participants presented their cases, navigated complex legal issues, and responded to probing questions from the esteemed panel of judges.
