    Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is gearing up to conduct student union elections after a four-year hiatus, with voting scheduled for March 22 and results expected on March 24.

    Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has announced that the students’ union elections are scheduled for March 22, with the results set to be declared on March 24.

    After a four-year hiatus, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will conduct students’ union elections on March 22, 2024. The last JNUSU elections were held in 2019.

    As per the schedule released by JNU’s Election Committee, the tentative voter list will be displayed on Monday and open for correction until Tuesday.

    Nomination filing will commence from March 14, and the final list of candidates will be available on March 16, according to an official notice.

    A University Governing Body Meeting (UGBM) is scheduled for March 20, followed by a presidential debate where candidates will address fellow students.

    Voting will take place on March 22, with vote counting and result declaration set for March 24, as per the notice.
