Annually, Innovation Fund Denmark designates female researchers as Innowomen. These women serve as ambassadors, contributing to the foundation’s diversity policy and serving as visible role models for other women.
Aasa Feragen’s research focuses on artificial intelligence, particularly fairness and bias in AI solutions. She leads the EXPLAIN-ME research project, aimed at developing artificial intelligence systems to provide clinicians with feedback during training at hospital clinics, thereby enhancing diagnostic accuracy.
