Srinagar’s GVEI commemorates Pi Day with festivities.

The Mathematics Department at Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) celebrated ‘Pi Day’ in the school auditorium on Thursday. The event commenced with an opening address attended by all faculty members and school management representatives. During the occasion, educators provided an enlightening overview of Pi, underscoring the importance of its observance. The Mathematics Department faculty delved into Pi’s history and its physical significance, engaging the audience in activities to illustrate fundamental concepts associated with this unique number. Attendees, including faculty members, were intrigued by Pi’s practical applications in the real world. GVEI Chairman, Muhammad Yousuf Wani, highlighted the pivotal role of such initiatives in disseminating information and enhancing educational experiences for students. “Our school is dedicated to organizing similar events that promote continuous learning and keep pace with global developments,” Wani remarked.
