Following a meeting with their Cambridge counterparts, the Harvard delegation proceeded to Emmanuel College, which boasts significant historical ties with Harvard, and participated in a symposium focusing on life sciences research.

Later in the day, Professor Garber and his team visited the Cambridge Biomedical Campus to gain insights into its globally renowned medical science, research, education, and patient care facilities.

Expressing his sentiments, Professor Garber remarked, “Meeting our alumni in London and visiting the University of Cambridge during my inaugural international presidential trip was truly gratifying. Recognizing our shared history and nurturing our ongoing connections underscored the robustness of our global community. Witnessing firsthand the myriad ways in which this community contributes to our mission of teaching, research, and innovation was inspiring. I extend my gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, our colleagues in Cambridge, and our London-based alumni community for hosting these meaningful discussions.”

Professor Prentice added, “I was thrilled to host Professor Garber and the Harvard team in Cambridge. It provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, delve into the exceptional work being carried out in our institutions, and exchange ideas on various topics.”
