Butterfly Learnings, a platform specializing in pediatric behavioral and developmental health, has secured Rs 32 crore in its Series A funding round led by Insitor Impact Asia Fund II and Enzia Ventures. Other participants in this round include CIIE (IIMA Ventures), Foundation Botnar, 9 Unicorns, and Venture Catalysts.
Earlier in 2022, the Mumbai-based startup had raised $2 million in its seed funding round from Insitor Partners, 9 Unicorns, Venture Catalysts, and other investors.
The newly acquired funds will be utilized to drive Butterfly Learnings’ expansion initiatives as it aims to scale up its technology-enabled therapy programs.
Founded by Sonam Kothari, Butterfly Learnings operates as a phygital platform, providing tailored support for children and families encountering challenges related to neurodiversity. The company employs over 250 in-house trained therapists and operates in urban areas such as Pune, Nagpur, and Nasik.
The platform’s primary offerings include personalized therapy plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA), consultations with experienced pediatric neurologists or developmental pediatricians, and supplementary therapies like occupational therapy, speech therapy, oral placement therapy, and sensory integration.
Currently serving around 2,000 families across 30 centers in Maharashtra, Butterfly Learnings intends to expand its footprint across various states and cities in India, aiming for a network of 200 centers.
