In Aligarh, Ayesha Noor, Farah Nasir Khan, and Eram Kausar clinched victory in the IAPSM nationwide World Health Day quiz 2024, organized by the Department of Community Medicine at JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). The event was overseen by Prof. Saira Mehnaz, Chairperson of the Department.
Asif Kamal, Syed Bilal Hussain, and Mohd Saleem secured the runner-up position.
The quiz comprised two rounds. Initially, 47 participants, organized into teams of 3 students each, competed individually. Scores were tallied, and four teams advanced to the final round, where four rounds were conducted. Dr. Shivangi Kumari, Dr. Ragul JS, Dr. Syed Sohaib Hashmi, and Dr. Ajitha A led the respective rounds. The winners were determined based on their cumulative scores, announced by Dr. Mohd. Yasir Zubair.
Prof. Saira Mehnaz commended the students and applauded the quiz team for the successful execution of the program. Dr. Ali Jafar Abedi and Dr. Tabbasum Nawab praised the winning team, and certificates were distributed to all participants.
