On March 5, 2024, the Kyushu University Forum titled “KYUDAI NOW in Bangladesh” convened at the Six Seasons Hotel in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The event had dual objectives. Firstly, it aimed to showcase Kyushu University’s cutting-edge research while enhancing and broadening the university’s connections with its alumni in Bangladesh, individuals associated with Fukuoka Prefecture, and stakeholders in Bangladesh’s education, business, and government sectors. Secondly, it sought to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among universities, government bodies, businesses, and local communities in both Bangladesh and Kyushu University.
“KYUDAI NOW in Bangladesh” offered a valuable platform to present Kyushu University’s latest research across various disciplines and disseminate pertinent information to the Bangladeshi community, particularly to its alumni. Additionally, it facilitated the strengthening of bonds, promoted mutual understanding with the Japanese community, and created fresh networking avenues for all participants.
