    Sapience Automata, a startup specializing in driver assistance technology, secures funding in its Seed round.

    Driver assistance startup Sapience Automata has secured Rs 1.75 crore in its Seed round, with Inflection Point Ventures leading the investment.

    The company announced that the funds will be allocated towards several key areas, including bolstering sales for its driver camera, establishing strategic partnerships within the automotive sector, advancing its technology in the field of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and pursuing international patent filings.

    Established in 2021 by Satyajit Neogi, Sapience Automata is dedicated to revolutionizing road safety in India through its plug-and-play driver assistance technology. The company’s mission is to significantly reduce accidents by harnessing the power of advanced AI and autonomous driving technologies.

    Sapience Automata distinguishes itself by offering tailor-made products and applications designed specifically to meet the unique requirements and driving conditions prevalent in India. Currently headquartered in Bengaluru, the company’s primary focus is on serving commercial fleets while laying the groundwork for future expansion into the broader consumer market.

    Other players in the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) space include FlowPilot and Swaayatt Robots.

    According to insights from startup data intelligence platform TheKredible, Inflection Point Ventures emerged as the most active investor in Q1 2024 with 11 investments, followed by Blume Ventures, Venture Catalysts, and Fireside Ventures.
